Macdonald House enjoys a convenient location, only a short walk to the city centre, close to the river, and near Eden Court. Many guests appreciate the rooms, especially in the Annexe, which offers a single bed, en suite shower, toilet, kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, and a TV; plus some rooms have cathedral views. A few guests have found some of the rooms small. Rabbie's tour pick-up point is just across the street.

Charlie the cat. The Annexe was perfect, a single room near the river. I had a single bed, Wi-Fi. an en suite shower. The small kitchen had a fridge and microwave. Three big windows with the annexe's own entrance were great.
